If anyone is interested; I took the 470 to Lexus and they said both front wheel bearings were worn out ( passenger and driver side). They replaced both sides and some other parts, total cost was $1800 plus. The good thing is they did it under the drivetrain warranty because it is all wheel drive. D

Kid, I have the same problem. Put it on a lift and the driver side bearing has a little more noise than the pass side. I think its a bearing too. Wanted to know if you did the replacement and your results, thanks.

BB- I would suggest you might try an active Toyota site or two also because I'm assuming they probably also have the same problem because they also use a Denso alternator. Thanks, will do! Any suggestions for good sites?

I'm intersted also, my lights flicker constantly but my battery doesn't die. Looks like know one has found the solution to this prob...

2006 Rx 330 Should I Get Extended Warranty (34000 Mi )

My inlaws just bought an '08 from Johnson Lexus in Raleigh, they declined the extended warranty under my advice. However they did offer the same $1250 warranty "on sale" for $1000. If you are still interested try to bargan with them! -
Started to tear down door and found the problem. The plug for the window buttons was loose. I never found the switch (sensor) but it is routed through the window button harness where mine had lost the connection. Thanks for the help and input.

*** FIXED***I have an '01 rx300 with a broken door sensor. The car never knows the driver door is open-no dome light and a relock after a few seconds if you don't put the key in to start. Does anyone know where this switch is and how to replace or repair? Thanks...

I have an 03 that had the droning problem. The dealer fixed it with a well known service bul. If I remember correctly it involves a different skid plate, steering dampner, and new lower control arms? They told me it was a harmonic problemin the front drive train. I always thought it felt like a harmonic problem around the intake(throttle position sensitive). I do know that the steering "feels" alot tighter at slow speeds than before. I hope this helps.
