  1. THANKS TO THIS FORUM! I was able to sell these headrests and see them do to good use.
  2. SOLD!!!! I’m selling (THEY ARE SOLD AS OF 9/1/09) :D used Invision Rev 2 DVD Headrests from a 2006 GX470. They are in near perfect condition (installed mid-2008). They fit most Lexus model around this year. They come with the headphones (slight wear from sitting in side-pocket), remote and instructions. They do NOT come with the controller unit (left inside the leased car). Invision will sell this part to you this part via a local Lexus or other dealer that resells/installs their line for about $120. They can be installed in around 2 hours by a local “Car Toys” like aftermarket audio installer. See link to Invision for more info on how they work. They cost new installed by my local Lexus dealer around $1,500. I’m will to see for $400. Or best offer. Let me know if you’re interested. http://www.invisionindustries.com/s-13-rev...ion-series.aspx
  3. I pulled these tan leather headrests out of my 2006 GX470. They are in perfect condition and work great. I have the two infared headphones, remote and owners manual. I'm missing the RF controller unit (left in car by error) - it can be purchased from Invision dealer for $125. The set sell for over $1K. I'm going to sell for $350 (firm) - plus shipping costs paid by buyer. I live in the Seattle/Tacoma WA area. Please email me back - mrlen2@comcast.net
  4. I have a new Sprint Motorola Q phone. While the numbers have been uploaded, they appear grayed out and not useable. No, I am not moving. The GX470 acts as thought I am moving. \\ \Can someone help. RIck
  5. ;) I had this Vaistech installed. The first one had a defection cable (random problems, more when it was cold). Vaistech support was good and helped me replace the defective unit. Since then, the SLI from them work GREAT within my 2006 GX 470. I have since showed to 4 other lexus owners that have purchased the unit. They all like it as much as I do, and with no like issues. RDL
  6. The first SLI was defective. Euguene at Vias did replace it (I had to pay for the second, a refund is pending). The second one appears to be working well. I like it and would recommend to others
  7. I have a new GX470 with navigation. I am thinking about adding the iPod interface that you read about here on the site. Does this void or impact the Lexus warrenty on the whole navigation system?
  8. I asked if this could be done and was told no.:cries: They stated it was for safety reasons, I think they just didn't want to do it. We wanted a "hot" 12 volt outlet for our 12 volt cooler. All of our previous 5 Jeeps had an "always on" 12 volt outlet. :chairshot: I think you're correct. My BMW X5 that I sold for the GX has an always on/hot, and another that required the car ignition to be turned on. In the rear there was also an always on for external gadgets. Not good news :(
  9. Had my dealer install after market but definately not an udiovox...was invision dual dvd headrest and had no problems whatsoever. Everything is all good with my gx...could be your dealer's tech not knowing what the heck they are doing I added Invision headrest DVD players. Except for a leather color mis-match (which I am sure will be corrected by the Invsions company - a good firm) the DVD players work great. Kids love them and they perform well
  10. I'm look for a way to have either one of my 12v plugs always on to charge cell phone. Otherwise I am running the car not nearly enough to keep my cell battery charged. Ideas, features, etc?? Thanks
