  1. You mention RPM's; are you saying you're having to continually press the accelerator to prevent the engine from dying, or is the car not moving even with the engine being revved? After the minute or so you mention, does it then run normally, or is there still excessive engine speed to get or keep the car moving? These trannies are tough as nails, and they aren't cheap, so be careful of your diagnosis - engine or transmission. If the engine runs fine but the car doesn't want to move, it may well be a transmission issue. If the engine doesn't want to run, that's another issue. Thanks alot. i will try it. someone told me that it might be the filter so i will try it and use better tranny fluid.
  2. How can I describe my problem <_< ? I have a 1995 SC 400 Lexus. Here I go: It doesn't matter if the car is cold or hot, when i crank up the car and put it in reverse or drive, i have to continually press the accelerator to get the car to move to almost 4rpm's. it begins to move after about a minute or even longer. do i need another transmission? a friend of mine said that my clutches are about to go. is that true? help me someone to fix this problem without having to purchase a new transmission!!!
  3. unfortunately, i just ordered new speakers and amp TODAY. thanks alot Georgian!
  4. today while i was driving home from work, i drove over a small bump in the road and my speakers started sounding like tweeters, i would adjust the knob button and then they would play normal (to me). then i started to adjust the balance of the speakers, the front did not play. i probably need to invest in new speakers and amp ( by the way, i drive a 95 sc400). i had saw a forum topic about how to clean the volume knob, anybody knows how help me. what i really want to do is invest in new speakers. to start with, i want to clean my volume knob. help me please. i love my music. also i need help in realigning my cd changer's reader b/c it skips like crazy. thanks ;) is my amp going bad
  5. but you have no knowledge of my low beams not working. say yes It was a suggestion to check the switch but you obviously did not pick that up. Maybe there is a problem in the switch column with the contacts. It sounds a little mean even if you didn't mean it that way. I'd suggest using the Clickable Smiles to express your mood/expressions. didn't mean to make u upset but I already fixed my problem. Duh, I only needed to change the bulbs. I never heard of both lights going out at the same time. but thanks for the feedbacks. B)
