  1. The dealer had me sign a waiver here in CA when I bought my car saying that I did not want the front plate mounted and that I understood it was the law to have one displayed. They forgot and mounted it anyway. I spent 2 months looking for a frame and plate I liked. I went with a carbon fiber plate with a carbon fiber frame which looks good against breakwater blue. But every time I looked at the vehicle I hated the fact that it had a front plate, frame and mounting braket. - Someone backed into my car last week and I'm having the front bumper replaced. I left explicit instructions not to mount the plate on the front. It just looks much better, much cleaner. A plate and frame does not flow with the front of the car. It looks like what it is, an afterthought/legal requirement. The only good thing that has come out of my accident.
  2. Super Nice Car. I wonder, does this have a rear spoiler around the exhaust also? The other ground effects look good. I have a 2006 IS350 in Breakwater Blue and I have been wondering if I would like to get a set of your x- wheels. The shark fin antenna is quite distinct also. Antenna reminds me of a BMW (not sure if thats good though). Would like some new pictures if you tint the windows. - Great Car. Thanks for the good pictures and Enjoy Your Car.
  3. - Received my Covercraft sun shade earlier in the week. The Fit is exceptional, the shade is truly custom fit and is not a loose fitting general pattern. The construction is very good. A dull silvery exterior. A medium gray flanel type of material facing the inside cab. A stiff cardboard type insulation between the two. The double row seam stitching along the partitions is sturdy and does not appear that it will fail for at least a few years. The heat insulation is as good if not better than a typical shade due to the insulation board. The only downside is that is is not as easily stored as the foil type due to the fact that it can not be folded as easily.
  4. I encounter this same issue. I stop the car, open the driver door, I then turn the Air or Radio off and the door has closed by the time I turn to get out. You have to open the door all the way to the point of maximum extension were it catches. I wish I could just open it partially.
  5. Good Point About the Seems. I'll Check Construction, Fit and Heat Reflection and post again in a couple of weeks.
  6. I just purchased the Covercraft sun shade custom made UVS100 for my IS350. I purchased through autoanything.com. They do price matches and I got it for $42.00 with shipping included. Storage case is optional. This shade appears to have substance as compared to the "foil like" ones I have been seeing. For $5.00 more it appeared worth trying. My personal feelings were that the foil type appeared and felt flimsey. So, I decided to either spend $5.00 on a cheap one and be bothered about it every time I used it or just get a good one and not think about it ever again.
