I personally prefer the more stock look, to enhance the lines on the car, the aftermarket ones are just for the wow appeal, and for attention. I dont think the car needs it cause it's gorgeous on it's own! I like the enkei, the abflungs in the attatchment, and the ones of the jucntion demo car, but i dont know which ones they are. Mine currently has the worst ones. The stock 16 inch ugly ugly ugly. It is one of the first gs when the generation came out. I am most likely gonna take the 17 inch 98-2000 ones. I think they are sporty and nice.

Hey, being a gs fan and all, going from a max to a gs is a great step, but I wouldnt go with it since it is at least four year old , and all that milleage. If i would i would think it; s only iswe to get a car which is newer than the car i traded in, even if it is higher class. How much are they asking? WHy not consider a '02 - '03 is300?

Yes, as i was saying about getting an a4, I beleive it is really a bad idea to get a disontued one ( new body, etc)just for the improvements, and yours won't hold it's value. Also, just because a 2000, is soon to be 5 years old! This is what i would do if it were me;) ANyways, how much are you asked to pay for this 2000 and also for the what- '02 gs? (which is not as bad as it it isn't too old, and the new one hasnt come out.? I have seen ads for the '02 audi for 19 grand.! off autotrader. Hope you dont have to pay too much more!

That one is not my car! (at least i'm honest;) That is just one of my many black favorites. He does have a '98 gs, right when it came out, which we adore, it is fast, but begining to show signs of age. Thanks for the input. My father hopes to get the new ('06- thanks) Gs, after both of us changed our minds from being not too impressed! That reaction seems normal! Another topic - who thinks it looks too much like an E class? Don't be too hard; imagine if it was your job to design the appearance of a car given it's previous look, future of the brand, attracting a buyer who wants sporty, luxurious, futuristic 40-50 grand car, yet be attractive, distinct, and carry an appropriate look ..............................that was against the competition. I think the lines are quite apparently similar to the E class, but not the whole look altogether ; the first of the new look. The front and back are really distinct and this is why it won't be mistaken for anything else. This is a good thing.

Hey, you are in a lexus forum, not audi.... what do you think we should say? lol And the fact the your are comparing an a4 to a gs, is a huge insult for a few reasons. Lexus gs = audi a6 (an understatment and insult on it's own) lexus es = audi a4!! Hope this helps!

Yes on, imakenews.com/autospies they said sources tell them it will be coming to dealers in Jan 2005 as '06 model. One more year for the spectacular classic gs. It's all down hill from here. <_<

Hey moderators, I highly suggest that you change the format , and let people post more pics at once. The gallery is for a group which is for enjoyment, but in the case of forums, where people want help, I think pictures say a thousand words, and allowing people to show with words as they are posting, would be an improvement from night to day. I beleive others would agree with me, but as i can tell, there are 3 people in all who ever come to this section! Just a recommendation, i hope you carefully consider.

Hey gs3.ca, well yes of course i agree if the price is that steep! But the point was to get a nicer more exciting look from the oem, for the same money!. I'm sure if you keep looking there is a much much lower price. I m sure i came acrses it, but so far i saved a bazillion of pics, but i havent organized thenm and sites, i found.
