  1. Got the new 350 a week ago. Silver with gray interior. I like the nav, the ventilated seats and the bluetooth. Best of all is how quiet the car is at speed. I have a 2005 corvette and it is obvious as heck when the engine is running. By contrast, the ES 350 is almost silent. Both cars have the push button start with the FOB in my pocket. It's a nice feature. I think the upgraded transmission makes the shifting virtually seamless. This is the first Lexus I have owned. I was looking at other cars and just happened to stop at the Lexus dealership in Monterey, Ca. I immediately fell in love with the appearance of the 350 both outside and inside. I went home and brought my wife back to the dealership. She loved it too, especially after a test drive. We have been very happy with the car after the first week and 1000 miles (drove it to S. Calif). I'm convinced that with the Lexus and the vette I have found the best of all automotive worlds. Life is good. Jim
  2. Hi all, newbie here. I purchased a new 2007 ES350. I really like the 6 speed auto. I believe it is new to this model but not sure. I'm still learning all the ins and outs of the car. Probably the most frustrating thing is that I must park it outside. I have ordered a cover from California Car Cover, but they have to make it since they don't have a custom fit in stock. I am seriously considering expanding my garage because I hate to park such a beautiful car out in the elements. Another issue is the grade of gas. The salesman said use premium. I have never had a V6 that needed anything more than regular. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Looking forward to reading and learning more on this forum. Jim
  3. Hi, just picked up my first Lexus ever, an ES350. I haven't had much of a chance to drive it however. My wife loves it and has driven it all over the Monterey Penninsula on the first day. My chance will come this weekend as we travel to S. Calif. Wanted to say hi to everyone and I am looking forward to participating on this forum. Jim
