  1. does anyone else have a problem with their rear window wiper coming loose and if there is anything i can do to fix this problem. i re-tighten the wiper all the time some how the nut that holds the wiper arm to the motor keeps coming loose and cause the wiper to slip and fall down on the lift gate. any help would be great.
  2. thank you very much for your help i am going to give it a try the next time the weather is nice.
  3. i was wondering if any one has removed the door panels on there rx and could give me some advice my last car was a mazda and only had 2 screws then the pins, so i was wondering if the lexus was also that easy. any help is greatly appreciated.
  4. Does anyone know what type of optima yellow top battery will fit in the rx300 i have looked and can not find a site that directly says which model will fit...not even optimas site.
  5. If You want to keep the factory unit you should try getting a mp3/cd changer that has a fm modulator that will use a channel on the fm side and plug to the factory deck through the antenna jack. I believe this is the best way to connect the sound quality is still good and everything else will still work. I looked a round and found several units jvc, kenwood and sony all have cd/mp3 changers that use a fm modulator. i had a clarion cd changer with fm modulator in my old car the sound was still of good quality i had no problems using that setup.
  6. I believe you made a good chioce with the alpine and eclipse combo. I would strongly suggest running the in line filter from the deck even if the deck puts out a strong enough signal (so they say), the sound differnce should be noticable and they are not expensive. As for the 6.5" in the rear i thought the same thing until i pulled the panel off the 6.5" will be better in the over all sound quality. As for factory speakers the differnce compared to aftermarket is great. The cone material and tweeter asssembly in an aftermarket speaker was designed with listener in mind unlike the factory mass production theory. As for my truck im running infinity 6002i 6.5' in the doors, a mtx 404 200 w rms 4 ch, 2 mtx 1501d (1500w 2ohm) and 2 eclipse 12 alum. ikept my factory deck and tweeters connected and opted for the inline filter. i have one of the loudest trucks in the area. for installation ideas try www.sounddomain.com theres some cool rx installs their.
