My 99 gs300 losses about half a quart of mobil one b/n oil change intervals at 5k miles, is this normal???

I have a 99 gs300 and wanted to know which oil filter is the correct on for my car? The filters sold at www.lexus-parts.com shows two part#'s, one is cheaper than the other, which sold i buy and is this place the best place to buy parts from??? TIA.

Oh no, I have a 99 GS300 and I used mobil one synthetic in the tranny, it's been running with it for like 20k miles... what's going to happen/what kind of damages??? I really messed up!!!!
