my car has a similar problem-- rich white smoke from exhausts, no CEL, no tune-up in known history of my 93 sc400. however I do hear rattling after engine start. I also hear a clunkidy when i drive over a pothole, drivers side. Any ideas? Anything helps... thank you

okay does it make this noise only when its moving? or if u put it in park and rev the engine do u hear it?? that makes all the difference! it makes the noise as soon as the engine turns over.. idle, stopped, in motion, etc. the noise does, however, reduce by about half the warmer the engine is

my 93 sc400, 180k mi, recently started having an annoying noise emit from its underside.. the noise is similar to the sound of the end of an oldschool film strip player, and the reel is flapping around and around, and the rate of tinktink increases when i rev my engine/accelerate... any thoughts? my fellow sc peerz... thank u in advance.

I've searched forum after forum on how to aim my headlight beams (currently they're aimed center and high; picture someone cross-eyed and looking up, basically at the rearview mirror of whoever is in front of me), and all i've found was how to draw measurements on boxes and the distance from here to there blahblahblah... I've tried messing with the screws on the headlight assemblies, but i've yet to successfully adjust the aim... This probably is a baby fix to you pro'z but gimmie a break I dont have much time fiddle around with it--- Can anyone throw me a bone, i'd really appreciate it.. thx

those r not fogs. one turns on when you completely turn on a turn signal. you can do some re-wiring to make em fogs if ur into that thing. otherwise, there u go. the dimmer clicking---read manual. im tired...

i've searched and searched the forums on a how-to for this... all related topics have 0 repies :cries: the driver's seat on my 93 sc400 is jammed; when i adjust the seat forward/back, the right track doesn't respond at all but the left track works fine. i need to get any kind of advice possible before i try and macguyver my way thru this... <_< thanx

yea its pretty much after i put it into drive, and after i roll for a while it doesnt happen. i'll look around for a Just Brakes, i hope theres one in seattle. thanks

hello every1 first post. i got a 93 sc400, and sometimes when i press the brake, the front/pssngr wheel area makes this clik-clak sound. sound familiar to anyone? is this serious and i should get it chekt out asap? cuz im kinda poor, cuz i just bought the dam car.. thanx..
