Hi, I was hoping I could pick your brains please. It snowed here today in toronto and thus started the beginning of my car woes. I have a 2000 RX 300. On the climate control display I can see the radio station info but I dont see the other 2 lines i.e the temp settings and time/fuel consumption etc). the heating works and i can listen to the radio as well but not sure why the display isn't working. i hav'nt made any changes or modded anything to the car. not sure if it will help but when i bought the car 5 winters ago there was a remote car starter that came with it. it works fine in starting the car. please help thanks

Can anyone suggest a good product to clean the leather seats? one that can be purchased in canada please...i accudentally spilt cofee on one the seats..wanted to knwo what wud be the best way to get rid of it..and smeel good as well also what wud be best practices to keep the carpet clean? both the seats and carpets are champagne in color..ive seen some suggestions to put the clear plastic coverings over the carpets.. thanks

hello everyone, was hoping someone could help me out. i recently got my front passenger side window replaced. i had called Lexus and the original window was around 400 CD$. I went to an aftermarket dealer and got my window replaced for 165CD$. the other day i noticed that the DOT rating on the original window is 23 and on the new one its 18. what is a DOT rating? so far i havnt noticed any problems with the windows. no leaks or air gaps. thanks in advance.

it was the relay that was the problem ..spent about 80 bux and got it changed..everything works now! so happy.. just out of curiosity...after the realy was changed...my mechanic said that he had to "reprogram" the cars computer...i wasnt there to see what exactly he did to reprogram the car... is there a thread that shows how to reprogram the car? thanks for all ur suggestions.

its an old purchase...what happend is that the windows were workign fine but somebody smaehd my window last week and stole my wallet :-( i got the wondow replaced...the front passenger window was broken ...but after replacing it...both my front and rear passenger windows dont work...and neither do the locks. i ve checked out the fuses and nothign seems to be blown. both the speakers on each passenger door work...i was hoping if there was anythign i cud try before taking it to the dealer... thanks..

ive been using 87 octane for quite some time no and have had no problems whatsoever regarding knocking...mileage i get is also prett good..about 19 mpg on the highways...so no complaints so far.. hope this helps..

Hello everyone, I do hope someone can help me out with this. I have a 2000 rx 300 with about 40K miles. The other day I just noticed that my passenger side windows(both the front and rear) stopped working. They dont move either up or down. I tried to go through the user manuals but not able to locate the fuse for both the windows( my impression is that the fuse is blown) i also noticed that the locks dont lock/unlock as well. when i use the remote to lock /unlock the locks the right side ones work fine but not the passenger side ones. also when im inside the car and use the lock switches its the same issue. any suggestions wud be much appreciated. thanks in advance.
