  1. Why would you take the original seats off? I would of like the Perforated leather-trimmed interior and Heated and ventilated front seats than those.
  2. I thought the IS was going up against BMW. Not mercedes.
  3. Your the same person I saw in every Lexus Forum posting the same question, title, everything. And no you didn't search, otherwise you didn't have to ask. Besaid the 3rd question, every other I seen being posted. (Just have to rub it in).
  4. Just like all cars but Lexus decide to hide the key hole. I forgot to mention to others that the key hole is on the bottom. I don't really know why you can't get it in the hole.
  5. Ok for the dog issue, try opening all the windows 1 inch down to let some air in so you don't have to keep the car running. That solve the key problem. If you still want to keep your A/C running than you do have to keep your keys in your car and lock in too. The answer is you have to remove the key..not the remote (silver part) in order to get back inside your vehicle. There is a key hole by the handle if you know the could open the door up incase your remote runs out of batteries. But the key is only for opening the door and locking the glove box. You can't start the car with it. Hope that answers both your questions.
  6. Like what SW03ES said "If power and a manual is extremely important to you, you're not the buyer Lexus is targeting with this car." The new Is. has much to afford than just that. If your looking in just horsepower, try focusing on american cars. All their cars are all pure power. !Removed! are turbo/supercharge. And for those ppl that compare Is. with other cars like S4, M3, STi. You guys are totally comparing the wrong car with the Is. First you look into the price range. So TL, G35, IS, 330, etc. all those come into mind when comparing.
  7. I am having the exact same problem with my full size Ipod. It plays fine thru the auxiliary input but when you power it thru the accessory plug next to the aux input in the armrest the noise thru the audio system is terrible. I am using a DLO Autopod Car Charger for Ipod that fits in the armrest that I purchased at Best Buy for about $20 bucks. I have a couple of different Ipod models, various mini to mini stereo connectors of differing quality and will report back in a day or two after I have done some tests. But, I agree with your point about turning your playlists into CD's. About 18 songs/CD X 6 CD's will get you down the road. I thing the frustrating thing is, we all hope that Ipod integration would have been seamless by now. What do you mean by full size ipod? So your saying there are half size, quarter size, etc. get my point?
  8. Unless you live near or you have to go thru a jungle to get where you go daily, then a suv will be right. But who would actually drive a suv thru that unless you live in a desert. Therefore to me (not a fact) the is350 is a everyday driven car.
  9. There are nothing to remove. Lux comes with Illuminated scuff plates and Sport comes with aluminum. Do you have the wooden dash board, or sun shades in the back? If you don't than most likely your dealer tricked you into paying more for a Sport IS350. Beside that I don't know why Lux didn't come with Illuminated Scuff Plates.
