  1. I did a cut and paste from another string. This worked for me, I have the 2006 IS250AWD. Good Luck! Here is an example to turn off the seat belt warning: 1. turn the key to the ON position (press Start 2 times), foot off the brake 2. cycle the odometer with the trip reset button until the ODO is displayed (not trip A or B ) 3. turn the ignition to the LOCK (OFF) position 4. unbuckle the driver's seatbelt if it was buckled. 5. turn the key to the ON position (Press Start 2 times). when the dash lights have come on, press and hold the trip reset button and count a slow 12 seconds. (editor's note, hold it more like 30 sec) 6. while still holding the trip reset button, buckle the driver's side seatbelt. 7. the odometer display should read "b ON" or "b OFF". toggle the beep OFF with the trip reset. 8. the process should be completed when you unbuckle or turn the key off
  2. My phone is the RAZR V3 and I have cingular as my service provider. I continue to have a problem every now and then. It happend again this evening, previous time was about 2 weeks ago. All though it is not that often, when it does happen, it makes me angry that I have to grab the phone to continue the conversation, which in this state is not legal to do.
  3. When I purchased my 2006 is250 with XM it came with the after market antenna on the trunk. Does anyone know if I can order the new shark fin type and replace the one that came with the car. My dealership tells me the shark fin comes direct from the factory at the time of the build. I hate the look of my current antenna that is mounted on the trunk, it looks very cheap. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  4. Every now and then my bluetooth connection drops while I am on the phone and a message says "Bluetooth device not connected. The call is not droped but I do have to grab the phone to continue to talk. The only way I can reconnect and continue hands free is to pull over, shut the car off and then restart the car. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, how do I reconnect without shutting off the car?
  5. My car is 2006 IS250 AWD nav w/o ML. The override for the phone does not work so it must be a similar problem with the 2007.
  6. I just purchased the 2007 IS250AWD and the Nav bypass does not work as indicated in this users group. Lexus must have made changes from the 2006 to 2007 ... Yikes! Thank you, Steve Don't know of anyone that's done it yet, but I'm sure someone will. People came up with ways to bypass on the GS pretty quickly. This is great that we can enter an address while driving but how about a way to dial a phone number that is not already loaded in the address book or speed dial? I saw there were ways to do it on other models but it does not work for the IS250. This would be a great help. Thank you
  7. Thank you. I checked it out and sure enough there was a sound associated to a location. I must have done it by accident as I don't recall doing it. It will take me a good year to figure out all the great toys on this car. I really appreciate your help. :D
  8. I have the IS250 with Nav. Every once and awhile I hear a chime which sounds very much like a door bell. I can't find anything as to what the chime signifies. Has anyone else heard of this or know what the "Ding Dong" sound is?
  9. I just bought a Lexus IS250 today with navigation system. I have a Motorola Razr cell phone and can't find a way to successfully upload the phone book. Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated. Thank you :cries:
