  1. The AVS suspension isn't going to be cheap. Try check prices at park place lexus in texus. They have a site you can check and ph# to call. http://www.parkplacetexas.com/DealershipHo...?DealershipID=5 Look for the parts/access link, and go to the catalog. If you're not sure which parts you need, just call them up. I don't work for them, but had good expriences with them.
  2. I did a quick pshop, but don't know how to get the pic up on here.
  3. I am also looking for the corner lense for my 2000 and can't find it yet. All are 97-99 but I found more posts for 01-02 than 2000. The oe route is about $63 + shipping for the lens/housing. Can't do the link...copy address. http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/ind...t=2&catalogid=2 If it don't work, go search for Plano Texas Lexus, then input your year/model to select the parts you need. I don't work for them or anything. I bought from them before and had a good experience.
  4. Yeah, bearing is separate. I didn't do my rear sets so I'm not sure if it's the same situation (most likely). Check the schematics just to be sure and double check when ordering that the front bearings are the same as the rear. Rear mounts & seats will be different of course. My 99 has about 49k miles, and found the front dust boots & bump stop to be ok, so I didn't order new sets. If you have higher miles, probably safe to order new dust boots/bump stops. My bottom spring insulators were bad though. I recommend you add the bottom insulators to your list. I didn't and so had to improvised. I did the change just this past Sunday and the dealer was closed so had to improvise....needed the car up and running Monday. I bought 1/2in dia heater hose, cut it about 1.5 feet length, then cut it open and wraped the bottom coil. I'll be keeping my eye out on them just in case. Edit: Out of curiosity I checked the rear suspension components and there doesn't appear to require the bearing like the fronts. Confirm with the place you are ordering from.
  5. A couple of things: check trans oil, replace if neccesary. Don't know if it has been serviced. Double check motor oil level (just in case). As for gas I've always used premium. Manual recommends 91 octane or above for "improved performance"
  6. I just bought these parts from Park Place Texas as i need to do the replacement on my 99 ES as well. This is what I have: 48603-33021 & 48609-33121 is the left & right strut mount. Don't know which # is right and which is left. A little research showed that 48603-33010 is superceded by 48603-33021. I also ordered 48471-41010. This is called the seat where the upper spring insulator mates to. This part is the same for left and right sides. 90903-63014. This is the bearing that goes between the strut mount and seat. This part is the same for left and right sides also. I chose to reuse the dust boots & bump stops tho. I figure since I'm taking the suspension things apart, I might as well put back new stuff back in. I plan to do the work this Sunday.
