I got one that hosting in San Francisco Lincoln museum for LS600h

You can find the Rx radio installation guide from http://www.carstereoremoval.com/htm/stereo...RX33004_05P.htm. Two months ago I installed my VaisTech module based on that guide. It has 11 photos to show you how to do it step by step. It took me about two hours to finish the whole project. I put my iPod and the VaisTech module in the glove box (VaisTech recommand to put their module in an easy access location for future firmware upgrade). So far it works very well and I don't have promlem with it.

My first RX400h has the brake issue. It had the clanking noise when I applied the brake immeditely after accelerated the car. I have posted that in this forum before. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...showtopic=28440

I have tried to program my 400h door unlock when shifting to park. It works fine just following the procedure in page 44. My car has default setting for door lock when speed over setting limit. So I don't need to set that.

Dealer has fixed the problem. They said the problem was the brake actuator internal failure. Dealer technician and Lexus engineers have tested the car whole day on Wed and confirmed that is the root cause. They allowed me to pick up my replaced new car this weekend.

I want to add a mp3 player to my 400h. It seems Vaistech is the only option to play mp3 through iPod with head unit control. Can that be easily self installed the unit? or you have someone to install it for you?

It has been two weeks and the car is still not ready. I were told two days ago that they thought they found the problem but they needed to have the Lexus engineer to examine it before the part is replaced. Last weekend I went to dealer and saw my car has a lot of disassembly parts. It seems it is not an easy fix problem. I don't feel good to see my new car in such condition. I requested the dealer to replace with a new car. Fortunately they agreed to replace with a new car.

The manual says RX400h can use 87 grade gas. Some people said use higher grade gas is good for the vehicle, gas mileage, and the environment. Our RX400h is already a environmental friendly vehicle. I am more concern about the gas grade to the vehicle. I usually filled up my RX400h with 89 gas. What grade of gas do you use?

I just got my new RX400h last month and I drove it very gentle. In last two weeks, time to time I heard a big hitting noise from the engine compartment. Now I can reproduce the noise. Whenever I accelerated the car, then very quickly to press the brake, I can hear this noise. Sometimes very loud, feel like something hit my car from the ground. I also have a rattling noise in my car from rear door area. I drove my car to dealer to fix this noise. I reproduced the noise to the dealer technician and they said they didn't see that before. Now it has been 3 days and they still can not isolate where the noise coming from, neither the rear rattling noise. My service rep told me they will have a specialist to diagnose the problem tomorrow. Is that a serious problem?
