  1. I guess i found my answer. Having spent this much already is not the way to go. I have had one set, already replaced under warranty from B*B and this next set only lasted 4 months. I performed the contamination tests as instructed and all modern oils have detergent in them. I tested the new AHC fluid and got the same results! Not to say aftermarket is bad, just that this is now a "pandemic" issue we are all facing. I agree to flush the system thoroughly. Not sure what anyone's track record is with this company, especially installed on a vehicle and still performing. Flush and go OEM! I have no choice but to say going with this aftermarket company is not advisable.
  2. Thanks Bobsgx470. I will have to investigate to see what fixes they have made.
  3. Here is the situation. Ever since I posted, they have taken the Sirius reciever off the shelf. I cannot find it anywhere, except for calling all the dealership to see if they have it in stock. Other than that, I am SOL.
  4. Parts223, What is the difference between part number PTS31-00052 receiver and PTS31-00050 receiver that you listed? Understood that they are different fit kits out there. Just was wondering what receiver you were refering to. I am assuming here, but most dealerships are using the PTS0052 receiver in the 06GX.
  5. Is everyone using the ES kit on the 06GX470? Some L#xus dealerships have stopped installing the Sirius on the GX because of the song name displayed being cut off at the end. And I guess they are going back and complaining. For those of you that have it can you confirm it? So the NAV units are different on the ES than on the GX? For those of you that had it installed by the dealer, and you have noticed the issue, are they going to warranty the ES unit and replace it with a GX unit if it ever comes out? How did they (L#xus dealer) say they were going to address the problem? I guess I am probing out there before I go and buy the kit for a buddy of mine that just picked up a GX. Thanks
  6. :chairshot: I guess I am pounding my own head on this one. They are reports of this happening and L#xus has stopped installing the Sirius on the 06 GX470, or at least some dealerships have stopped. A lot of customers are complaining of the same issue. So, they do not make a kit specifically for the GX? Is everyone using the ES kit? I understand the NAV units are the same, so does that mean it is happening on the ES' also?
