I bought my rx400h for the gas mileage... not for cost, but because I feel it is the right thing to do. With all that is going on in the fuel industry, does anyone know if the rx400h can use alternative fuels such as E85? Also, I know our vehicle is programmed for comfort and performance... does anyone know if it can be reprogrammed for higher gas mileage? I think that most of the rx400h owners are environmentally aware... so I'd appreciate anyone's knowledge...

I had a XM installation by Factory Interactive. It is a home based installer who gives excellent/detailed service... he was VERY careful with my installation. He installed a Toyota XM radio into my Rx400h and it was totally invisible except for an inconspicuous antenna. His name is John - I wish all installations were as neat. Zube, I had read in a forum somewhere that one of the wires had to be grounded, otherwise the GPS would be "jumpy"... have you heard anything like this? Are there any other issues you've come accross since you originally wrote this?
