hey everyone im hearing moornoof squeegy noises whenever im goin over bumps and goin into driveway at an angle when the car is "twistin" anybody have the same problem?i took it in at 5k miles they said dirt buildup and it was ok for 1k miles then started again prolly the rubber is dry is somethin thanks in advance for any input

I would recommend bringing a couple of CD's with you to the dealer and try them both out. Since I live in the Midwest, they do not offer the Levinson on a GS300 without special ordering it. So I listened to it in a GS430. I was completely blown away. I am extremely picky about audio systems, I'm a musician and I have my own studio. The Levinson is simply the best sounding auto stereo that you can buy. If you like distortion and unreal bass, then it may not be for you. Try them both out, you will see a big difference. I did and had to buy out of state since I didn't want to wait for a special order. RanKZero well since you whined rank here goes my input i bought the mark L system you can actually watch dvd on the mark L system and yes it sounds way better than the regular 110 watt i think is the regular one and im just kiddin dude about the whining part its just funny that you brought it up late 06 GS 300 AWD Thanks. Yes, purchase or borrow a bluetooth palm device. In the address book make a category (mine is called Lexus). Enter the contacts you want. Enter name and phone only. Do not enter spaces, dots of dashes in the phone number feild. congrats on your car previous 5 series owner here too and yes brakes on the bimmer stop better than the lexus but overall i like the lexus and spongy is normal as long as your pedal doesnt go all the way to the floor thanks

hi is the car lowered? and it all depends on the offset of the rim 245 are more common but if you dont have the right offset on rim and put the 255 tires might rub in the rearwhile goin over bumps with 2 or 3 passengers or the front tires might rub while turning

HI if the road youre driving on is smooth then check it every 6000 miles if you hit curbs when parallel parking or going over bumpy potholes or bumps on the road driving fast you should check it every 3000 to 4000 miles...one way to check is turn wheel all the way to the left or to the right check inside of tire or outside of tire if it is wearing and getting bald check the alignment

Hey Nick i wouldnt take it to the dealer just take it to a toyota authorized service where they only do toyota and lexus cars and it could also be your tps sensor<throttle positioning sensor> dealer is going to charge you $80 to diagnose the problem anyways,with private shops <or MIDAS> does this sometimes if you talk with them they include the diagnosing problem in the work that is going to be performed,i manage a midas that is how i know thanks Ken

hi spark plugs if iridium should be changed at 90000 you did good doing a throttle body service,i would change the FUEL Filter if you have not done so yet because clogged filter could block gas from coming into engine and yea put the idle cable adjustment back to original position thanks

Hey everyone i just joined the forum yesterday and answered some qs i have couple of questions 1.. have a 06gs300 anyone know if i can play a dvd movie and do i insert it in radio/cd slot or in nav cd slot in glove box 2..i wanna put a push button switch under center console where the seat heater switch is and the push button switch is for the rear camera so i can actually just push the button anytime<while driving forward>and see whats going on behind me any help would be appreciated guys/gals <not sure if there are any gals in here >lol thanks

hi i have 06 gs3 with 2255017 on there and working at discount tires for 15 years this is a good size for a good ride if you wanna go with a wider tire and a common size tire is 2354517 thanks

ok number one you have to check if all the wire connections on the battery terminal are tight including the terminal to battery bolt. next if this is ok see if you can bang on the starter when its not starting and when you bang on it and it starts then its your starter. autozone will sell you a lifetime starter not sure if this helps

hi one way to pinpoint the problem if the belt is dry remove the belt and start the car see if sqweak goes away if it doesn you know its in the belt or the tensioner then you can spin the tensioner pully or wiggle it see if makes a bearing humming noise or if belt is cracked replace it . another way is put some wd40 on the belt if squeak stops change belt that will take care of the problem thanks

HI Have a 06 GS300 2wd fully loaded with mark l system,xenon and all bought it have almost 4k on it now i have no problems on it except for the moonroof making tweaking noise when youre twisting the car entering a driveway,lexus said theyre gonna do a 5k mile free oil change and ill tell em at that time to see what theyll do with the problem. anyways i just signed in to this forum and for those of you that dont know me <im thinkin everyone>i work in automotive service so if i can be of help to anyone in the so cali area <los angeles> let me know and my brother is also a car broker so if you guys need a new car im sure he can hook you guys up. keep up the good work guys Ken
