  1. Thanks, Crew, I will look forward to that. Have you come across a site that describes or illustrates how to remove and replace the radio itself, or are you two just knowledgeable guys? cm
  2. Great job. Terrific mod. And, all I want is a radio! My cd player still works, but the AM and FM portion of the radio does not emit sound, so I need to replace the sandlewood colored Nakamichi console. Would anyone have one? I would prefer a Nakamichi rather than a Fujitu Ten. Thanks, cm
  3. em If you are the Pied Piper I will follow. Just because it may be impossible, that is no reason to quit. I too wish to hard wire the mp3 player, however, I also wish to install a 1/8" mini jack into which my rider can plug her earphones. I wish for her to be able to continue to listen to her radio through the phones while I listen to my mp3's through the speakers. I know that it sounds convoluted, but I am the driver and cannot use the phones, yet I am the one that wants to listen to mp3's and not have the exterior dash all yucked up with wires and gizmos. Sooooo, when you get it figured out, or if you have a question please pm. I am the guy who once made a bunch of orange crates out an airplane, so my skills are not to be trusted. cm
  4. Hi, I drive an RX300 with 80k. The engine runs flawlessly. Also have an SC400 which uses premium only (ever hear an engine ping?!!!). So, to break in the vehicle we took it on a 5k cruise using 92 octane premium. When we got home both area Lexus dealerships told me the same thing, "USE REGULAR". So I have for the last 75k. The computer says that I average 22 mph in about 30% stop and go driving. My vehicle is a testament to 87 octane. Good luck to you. cm
