  1. I had the same problem with mine with aftermarket cds. Use a tweezers and pull the cd out that is stuck in there
  2. So you saying it still doesnt work right? I have the same vehicle you have with the same discs you have. And I know what you meen about the override being gone, it sucks!!
  3. I have the same year, make and model. I live in southern Minnesota so I get that same weather. I have found the same issues that you have. When its cold out it seems the engine has to run that much more so the milage is down. I did however find out that in summer keeping the speed down at 60mph or below the milage gets alot better. That is unless you have one heck of a tail wind then its fine to run a bit faster.
  4. When I purchassed my 06 new they sold me a factory hitch at cost. It was very easy to in install. Dont know why they would say its not avalable. I purchased mine at Lexus of Wayzeta in Minnesota
  5. Well its got to be the version disk I have then that is the problem. Because I did cut the right wire in the passenger kick pannel for the nav and it still blacks out when moving. But the blue tooth does work. When I purchased this car new it had the version 5.1 in it. I was able to go in and overide the nav system and it wouldnt black out when moving. But then I installed the new verion 7.1 when it came out and now no more overiding the system. Even putting the old 5.1 disk back in didnt bring it back. Neither does cutting the blue/green wire. I am totally stumped. I do want to see some pics of your with thoes wheels on it. I have the gold package on mine and had the factory wheels chromed
  6. Now let me get this right. Are you saying that you just clipped the wire? And you did not install an enabling switch like they had in the last step?
  7. So, in the kick panel was it the Blue wire you clipped or the wire in pin 15? We clipped the blue wire and the screen still blacked out when the car was moving. The wire in pin 15 is a white wire
  8. I really didnt want to mount a toggle switch anywhere so I ended up not doing that part of it. I do have full use of my phone numbers now though. So, will the lockpick work with all nav upgrades? When I called them a while back they acted like they didnt even have one for the version 8 yet
  9. Well we ripped into it today and have the phone part of it working, but the nav still is still un usable while moving. What wire was it for that again?
  10. One this I was wondering. Since you clip the VSS wire, did it affect your milage monitor at all
  11. I have a 20 foot Allison Boat and use my RX400 all the time to tow it. No problem at all on the launch ramp. The cool thing is towing it out of the water without the engine running. Really makes the people look. I only have to back it to the point of getting the back wheels wet a bit
  12. I did exacly what you are looking to do with that outfit in California. Back in 2006 when I traided my brand new ones in the deposit was only like 600.00 and I wish I would have kept my old ones. I did manage to find anather set for 550.00 shipped so I have my winter set now also
  13. Tom, we recently put a water pump in a Toyota Prius in our shop. Yes, you have to put that OEM stuff back in. I have plenty of Dexcool sitting around but the dealer said no, Dont do it. So $20.00 my cost for a gallon we put in the recomended stuff
