I need to take my 06 for 60k service. Manual says to replace plugs one shop ( not a dealer) said to just check and clean . What is the opinion of everyone on this. Also do you take your car to independent shop or dealers for this kind of service. Difference is about $150 between dealer and independent shop. Thanks

I recently replaced the run flats on my 06 went to Bridgestone Turanza Serenity -- what a differenct so much better ride and much quiter. They may not have quite the performance as far as cornering etc. but if overall comfort is a concern they are a good choice.

I bought a used 06 300 AWD August of 08. Also got the rattling problem noticed as weather here got colder. Lexus did authorize repair even though had over 50K on the odometer. The problem is definitely better but the rattle is still there. It seems to be coming more from aorund windshield area. Should I return to dealer and have them try to fix or just live with this. I had a 02 GS that did not have a single rattle. I am very disappointed by this , this is only complaint otherwise great car.

I just purchased a CPO 02 GS300 absolutely love it so far-- my question is the dealer said regular gas is ok but the manual says premium-- is there a problem with regular unleaded and since I am in the great plains there is a lot of etanol gas is that Ok or should I avoid ? Thanks for the advice
