  1. I average 21-22 MPG while driving more highway than local. I usually fill her up at 320-350 miles, that's about when the light comes on. However, if I do a lot of city driving, the MPG is much worse, but 16 MPG is not right. I see that kind of fuel consumption on super/turbocharged 2jz's.
  2. You might consider just using the 2jzgte bottom end if you want to turbocharge it.
  3. How about suspension? Improving the handling is always a good thing. Here's a link:
  4. Your clutch sounds like it's out of adjustment. Meaning, when you fully press down on the clutch lever, the clutch is not releasing 100%. It's not safe to drive around like this. If the clutch itself is in good shape, should be just a simple adjustment by your mechanic.
  5. I just bought a 2003 IS300 and the first thing I want to do is improve the handling. I'm on a budget so I want to spend wisely. On Ebay, I just saw an Apexi coilover for sale and it looks great, but I don't know anything about them. Here's the link. Do these work good on the IS? Does anyone use these? I like the price, but I have no idea about how good they are. Or, should I just get some springs only and save even more money?
