I have a 06 GS300 w/ the XM antenna on the rear shelf. I want to get the windows tinted, but I hear it may effect the XM reception. Anyone have any experience with this? If so do you stay away from metal tints?

I had a '98 GS300, I remember having that same problem. It was replaced under warranty...something about a service bulliten. I thik it may have even been a recall. You might want to check it out.

Anyone else having problems with 2004 or newer LS430's and the tire pressure warning. I have had the light come on and checked all tires...seemed good. Dealer reset light. Now a few months later it's on again...The car sits alot...has onl 2,800 miles on it in two years...could that be it. It has the 18' w/ Sport suspention.

So I am currently waiting for my '06 GS3 to come in...is it worth waiting for the '07? I thought the same when it came to the horsepower... the E350 and 530i both have way more hp.

'03 GX in the family with 40,000mi. It has clunked consistently since day one. Two different dealers have replaced two different parts to do away with the sounds. It still is there, mostly at a stop when you let off the brakes. The dealer did mention Lexus was working on a fix... We'll see. Still a great SUV though.

RFeldes-you are right. this will be Lexus #3...had a '97 ES300, and '98 GS300....best service department ever...no matter which one I visited...Benz's are fun no mistaking...but when you really look at it for the money Lexus is the way to go....now if I had money to burn...I would probably still have a Lexus somewhere in the garage!

Anybody know the easiest way to connect an Ipod directly to the Lexus/ML Navigation sound system on an '06 GS. I have the XM unit also. I currently use a FM modulator but want to get the true sound from the Ipod...? Anybody? Thanks.

I am currently waiting on a '06 GS to be delivered. I am trading a '00 MBZ CLK430 Cabriolet. Part of me will miss the drop top and all the panasche of a Benz. But I wont miss the trips to the service department, and I don't necessarily mean the cash shelled out. I have to admit oly minor problems with my benz at 66k, but there is no service department like that of a Lexus. This will be my third Lex, and I just love the way they take care of you. That is the #1 reason I am maing the switch...plus I loke all the technology inside the ew GS and I am sure it will work correctly unlike a Benz.
