Those needles each have a ground on the second board where they stick, I'll check that out and make sure that its touching the contacts
I put the screws back together, but the gauge was working fine before I changed the bulbs
-
Yes I did, what do you think I should do? Do you have AIM
-
Cant be I replaced them or my 1992 ES and that didnt happen, I didnt touch anything just replace the bulbs and put the cluster back together thats it.
-
I just replaced the 8 bulbs behind the cluster on my friends 1994 ES300 and now the temp gauge goes strate up to hot and wont go down what do you guys think I did wrong or should do.

Alright guys, just had the bilsteins put on my car and man what a world of a difference over stock. I feel barely any bumps and the car has no body roll. Also the car sits up more now, but other than that the car rides like a new car. GREAT STRUTS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
-
They will fit for sure, but you have to make sure that they won't overheat and go out.
-
Well I ordered the Bilstein Struts today and struts mounts, I will post you guys when they get installed.
-
I've always figured equivilant models are about the same.
Which struts do you use because I am going to purchase them today and need to know which ones are going to give me a smooth ride but can take rougher road bumps to.

Smoother!? Never heard of anyone wanting an ES / Camry to ride more like a boat. They out "caddy" the best rides caddy has ever come up with. Monroe's top tier Caddy replacement's are under KYB's ES strut. I really doubt you'd find struts with less rebound that what's in there OEM. I think you're on a near impossible quest. :D
Based on the fact that you've got a '92. I'd say you need replacement springs & struts. You can regard yours, or upgrade to the later ones. All suspension wear out, most tend to need replacing around 10 years I guess.
So KYB or Tokico what which ones are better? money is no option

I have a 1992 Lexus ES 300 and I was wondering if Bilstein struts are better than the OEM ones? I heard that the Bilsteins are heavy duty struts and will give you a smoother ride what do you guys think?

The screws on the sides are very thin towards the end and there are six of them on each side. They look the same to me. But I didnt put the exact screw that was exactly in the hole cause they look exactly the same. Should that matter?
DO you have Instant Messenger so I can talk to you direct
Do you work for Lexus, cause u sound like you know what ur talking about?
