  1. Here in Canada with my Lexus RX400h I average about 9.5L/100km in winter and about 8.5-9 L/100km in summer. On the highway my mileage is actually worse at about 10.5L/100km - that is when I average about 120 km/h on long stretches. Presumably your mileage would be a little bit worse with the larger engine. Hope that helps.
  2. Does the track info appear on the 7 inch LCD screen, assuming that you have the GPS-NAV system, in addition to, or in place of on the single line LCD display that shows radio station, etc? FYI - in case it matters I have a 2006 RX400h.
  3. How well does the Vaistech work? When I looked into it about a year ago some folks said not to bother since it was very buggy. Has it improved?
  4. I don't know how you do this but my rx400h definitely has the temperature in celsius - I live in Canada and I purchased my vehicle in November of 2005. However I have noticed that the voice commands for setting temperature only have fahrenheit ranges - i.e. 60s and 70s, not 20s.
  5. Why are they a joke? The price differential between the IS250 and IS350 is pretty similar to the price differential between the RX330 and RX400h. The RX400h gives a fair bit more power (45 horsepower) than the RX330 - isn't that worth something? Plus you get the added benefit of much better mileage in the city. Sure your paying more, but you're getting more power + better mileage + lower emmissions. And in many places you get a tax credit from your government - in Ontario we get $1000 back from the government.
  6. The best way to playback MP3s is to plug your iPod into the audio input of the car which is in the centre console. Yes you can burn MP3s or WMAs to CDs and do it that way, but that is SOOO 1990s.
  7. So they don't actually give you the disc?
  8. Are there any restrictions on reselling the disc?
  9. What is the next hybrid coming from Lexus and when will it be available? I thought I heard somewhere that a Lexus hybrid passenger car will be introduced in the next 6-12 months but I can't remember which model - does anyone else?
  10. Does this permanently override this feature or do you have to do it every time you start the car?
