  1. Hey congrats on the $, I would love to drop that in mine. Now this is a wierd coincidents. I have a sc 400 and I already own a 02 buell x-1, which I drop a ton of cash in mods (e-me so we can compare) Have fun
  2. Thanks for the reply. The radiator split right along seam on top side/front I tried a quickie repair (JB Weld) to take it to a shop. At that time, the water was like a light mist. It was like a cold morning condensation type of mist but it was a nice 72 degrees and I had started the engine several times. In addition, I kept checking on the way to the shop and the mist was the same consistency as before with water on the inside of the muffler tips. Total travel to shop was about 7 miles. The water is in both pipes equally. I can take a picture and post it if it would be of help. Thank for the help. I look forward to your response Lonzo
  3. I am a proud owner of a 92 SC-400 with 191,000 miles with no real problems.....until now. Sitting at a light, car not hot not cold, just exploded the top of the radiator and started blowing water/coolent out of the exhaust. Now here is the rub, there is not a drop of water in the oil. Now I now I should just bite the buillet and rebuild but then I could not boast about how many miles I have without a re-built or are those days over. I have recently replaced the waterpump, pullies timing belt and tensioners along with cam pulley. All this work was done about 2500 miles ago. HELP PLease
  4. New member, first post. I just bought a 92 SC 400 with 186,000 now has 189. I had to replace the water pump-timing belt, camshaft pulley, idlers and from what I see, this engine has not been touched. Lots of power and no compression drop in any of the cylinders. Love the car.
