That strikes me as unfair to the consumer who is paying close to double for a hitch (non Lexus parts) to be constructed on a car intended to take the hitch. Lexus has been blaming other things, but the conumer seems to be caught holding the bag. They do state, however, that if the consumer was not told in advance that the hitch wasn't ready Lexus Corporate would hold the dealership responsible. That likely is just talk, but if anyone else is in the same situation I guess they should complain and see if they cannot get fairly compensated.
