  1. That strikes me as unfair to the consumer who is paying close to double for a hitch (non Lexus parts) to be constructed on a car intended to take the hitch. Lexus has been blaming other things, but the conumer seems to be caught holding the bag. They do state, however, that if the consumer was not told in advance that the hitch wasn't ready Lexus Corporate would hold the dealership responsible. That likely is just talk, but if anyone else is in the same situation I guess they should complain and see if they cannot get fairly compensated. I leave my email with my signature for anyone not wishing to respond on this board. Biker L2L2l@earthlink.net
  2. Has anyone else had to have a hitch made from scratch for the RX330 because Lexus has yet to produce the hitch? If so how have you solved the problem? Did your Lexus dealer tell you that no hitch was presently available when you bought the car? Lexus central said that the dealer would be responsible for that problem (since the consumer may have to pay extra or wait for it to be produced). I wonder how the dealers/Lexus are resolving this problem elsewhere as it has been a stickler for quite a number of people in my area. Any suggestions? Anyone with the problem?
