just purchased a 93 LS400 - 176K miles - looked really clean interior and drvies nice but looking for local guidance on selecting mechanic for assistance with hopefully minor repairs initially (hood shocks, brake light problem with burnt connector).
First Lexus and really excited with the car but am discovering some challenges that I need to asure myself I did not make a mistake.
Of course, I know carfax was not in the cards for me as this was a last minute purchase but am happy so far.
If anyone could lead me to a helpful mechanic and assist with a post mortem Carfax report would be helpful. i am in the process of contacting previous owner to ask if anything I should be made aware of (I know, not the wisest way to get here), but at least a last shot of comfort.
