1995 But almost hitting 256,xxx

When my car is cold, i'll hit the ignition..and it will just click, so then i just turn it back and it starts right up. What is that? ANd today, it started making this really weird noise, i have no idea. If anyone has any idea's if those two things are related and what the problem is..please let me know. I'll try to upload a video later. thanx

Hey guys, i was just wondering if you think the new wheels from the SC430's that are dark grey, would look good on my 95 es300 that is black with grey on bottom? I'll try to leave some pictures of what im talking about below. And if anyone could do a photoshop for me i would greatly appreciate it. ( btw. would they even fit?)

1995 ES300 251,--- still runs strong.... wish i could have drove one new...im still shocked at how nice it drives and the great performance even when i got it at 241,000 haha. Love my lexus. First one, and hopefully next will be as well

Hello, I have had my 95 es for a few months now, and it just now turned over 250,000 and im not sure when the last guy had the timing replaced, and i was just wondering when you are supposed to change them, like every 50,000..or.... if theirs like a certain mileage peak, like at 100,000, then again at 200,000? Any info would be appreaciated!

Hey guys (and gals), my sister and I are fighting over who would win in a race, and her little ricer b/f thinks that her soon to be 99 passat 1.8t will beat my Lexus ES300. What is your opinion? Her b/f says that it doesnt matter that mine has like 50 more horse..it depends on how many horse to the wheels...and i also told him mine has more torque (www.edmunds.com facts) So..i just wanna know that im not digging myself a whole when i think i can beat her.... Could someone do a photoshop on a two toned black(top)grey(bottom) Es300 (92-96) with some ASA ST2 wheels onit for me? ive searched all over trying to find what it would look like on my car, but have had NO luck.... Pics of an ES300 with different wheels?

Hey, iwas wondering if anyone has any successful stories of fitting rims on their es300(mines a 95) from a different model? I really like the SC430 wheels and i dont know if they would fit or not..and i was wondering if anyone has pics or not? I would really appreciate ANY input! thanx, JOel

i have a 95 es with 244,000 and still runs Beautifully...i just replaced headgaskets...that has been my only issue with this magnificant car. I <3 Lexus

Hey guys, i finally broke down and took my lexi in to get the rear valve cover gasket fixed, and i had him track down what the burning/smoke smell coming from the vents when the heat was on.... And he found a mouse nest somewhere inside of my car.... But..he said he got some of it out, and if he wanted me to get it all out it would be 8-10 hours to take the dash out and finish the job......... ugh... im already out 225$ for the gasket and cleaning a bit of that crap out....... grrr

I asked my dad if, since i plan to replace the rear valve cover gasket, if that would solve the problem, and he said NO...so.....is he wrong? or is their more than one thing i need fixed?

Hey guys, whenever i turn on my defrost or heat, i get a burning smell, such as oil, and my cabin begins to get smokey........whats should i do? winter is coming and i dont want to have to breath smoke to defrost my windows, thanks
