I basically had the same thing done for my 2002 ES300: I had it glassed to fit a good head unit since I wanted it to look 'factory'. It was then painted (along with the bezel for the climate control to match). I don't know how good it would look if you used a kit inside the levinson faceplate to accomodate a single din head, but as long as there aren't any gaps, a double-din might look pretty good. good luck with that. I'm looking to change the head unit on my '02 ex300 from a "premium" to a standard DIN head unit. Problem is, I can't find a dash kit for this car. Does anyone know of one, or does anyone know of someone who makes a custom?
