Thanks guys. blue06gs, you can order the longer direct wire kit from EscortRadar.com for like ten or eleven bucks. I think you can even get one with the remote mute button too. I ran mine down the passenger side A-pillar, behind the side access panel for the dash, hooked it to a switched line on the fuse panel and used a screw on the firewall for a ground.

The salesman I'm working with says a retro kit for iPod connection for the GS will be available soon. The new IS350 is based on the same platform and they don't want the IS to have something the GS doesn't.
