I have this problem with the smell of sulfur, like rotten eggs, when ever I accelerate to pass. Is this a sign of catalytic converter and if so which ones.

I was side swiped on the drivers side and found an identical year and color LS400 at the junkyard. When removing the driver front door the wireing harness had to be cut. The interior door panel was already removed from the door previously. My real question is, what procedures must be taken when removing the interior door panel that I will be using on the new door. Any help - Thanks
