  1. you need another harness for the amp, i have seen them at circuit city and on ebay... here is one on ebay... ebay link EDIT: oops didn't realize the original date of this thread...anyway, still good info for anyone new...
  2. good point, my regular dealer didn't have the right machine to cut the key i got from ebay...and the local locksmith said he would cut it but wouldn't guarantee it to work...wtf?! anyway, i found a lexus dealer that can cut keys and when i called about it the guys said let me guess you got a key blank from ebay....lol he said no problem bring it in...cant remember what i paid but i don't think it was $50. another tip is that when programming the transponder... programming a 2001 model is slightly different than the 2002-2005 models...
  3. i have heard good things about the hydroedge and yokohama avid;s...not sure about the rest... but i would get dedicated snow tires... do you have a sears auto center near you? you should be able to get the blizzaks from there...they also do free tire rotation...get the road hazzard warranty too...anything happens to the tire they repair it or replace it... tires for 17 inch rims would cost more than 16's and since they would be on for the winter only, stick with the 16's winter is harsh on the chrome..same goes with polished wheels...get a set of inexpensive silver wheels or a set of steel wheels... take look at tirerack.com and discounttiredirect.com
