  1. I get bad gas mileage in eco mode. The car is slow and u use more gas trying to get up to speed. I get about 47 mpg in normal or sport mode. 43 in eco. Sport mode feels like RWD and still uses the electric motor.
  2. More good info Oil catch can Harbor freight tube brush to clean intake manifold egr ports
  3. Direct injection is always an issue. Intake valves get gunked up and chokes the engine. The IS250 has direct injection the IS350 has direct and port injection. Oil catch cans are very useful even for non turbo cars
  4. Found some good info from a toyota tech
  5. I was looking around a lexus parts site and the engine costs about $2000 so they are almost paying for a new engine, and the rest is labor. Thanks for sharing now I know why my brakes are loud
  6. No it's my first hybrid. I peeked under the hood and saw inverter coolant, engine coolant, and brake fluid. Don't want expensive repairs. Figure I just drain and fill with toyota fluids plus brake bleed and spark plugs
  7. What are the fluids in a hybrid? I am looking to change them soon. Thank you
