Is the fluid level correct?

It doesn't have a dipstick but does have a flaw in the transmission cooler that lets water into the fluid. try dropping a little sample of fluid from the pan. if it looks brown milkshake gearbox needs new solenoid block at the very least. third gear solenoid seems to be first to go when this happens.

You need to use techstream the toyota software to change the settings but I think on some model years you can access the menu in the car screen for this setting
