How does one tell the difference between a "quality" aftermarket O2 sensor and a non one? Funny that the engine light has cleared and come back on now a few times.

I have a new to me 2006 RX330 that has the engine/VSC/Traction lights on. The code reads as a P0037 "Heater control circuit low bank #1 sensor #2. So I look that up and see it is an oxygen sensor (could be a wiring issue etc. or the sensor) and I look up info on that and come across a "how to" thing thats ays to use only OEM sensors. It says that "lexus cars don't like aftermarket", but the prices difference here is pretty huge. Is it true that an aftermarket sensor instead of an OEM for a 2006 is going to be a problem? Thanks
