I have toyo versato lx on my 05rx for the last 20k miles. I cant tell the difference from the oem michelins. They are good in snow and rain, and just as quiet. Tread life seems to be much better. I got a better price on them than any other premium tire. Would not hesitate to reccomend them or buy them again.

Instructions to aim your headlites are in owners manual! 2 screws for each assembly. You do NOT have to touch rear axel sending unit! I have adjusted mine with no problems.

[How about Toyo versados? 1010tires hads them rated much better than the alenzas,but their comments page is and will not be working, so there is no subjective opinions. in the 18 inch size toyos are $850.00 a set $200 more than alenzas. I dont mind paying more if they are that much better

Stop, dont buy those injectors yet! I just got my2005 RX back from a 2.5 weekstay at local Lexus dealer. It was flashing cel & vsc.I dont Know what codes it sent but dealer said it was consistantly showing "cyl 5 missfire" They replaced the injector,coil,sparkplug,removed valve cover to check for broken spring,did compression check.No luck,contacted japan. I recieved call to pick up car it was BAD GAS. I suspect vandalism because I also filled containers for my boat and they are good Think back as to your activities and maybe your problem has a simple solution. Good luck.

Does anyone know how to remove the air bag cover on the steering wheel on a rx330? I just got it back from having the dashboard removed, and the cover is all the way to the left instead of being centered between the switches. I know it seems pickey but it's anoying to see that gap all the time.

firechief,where in wisc do you live? last feb my 05rx got the noise fixed at lex of Brookfield. sounded like two styrofoam take out containers rubbing together.the noise was on top of dash just behind defroster, and was noticeable on rough city streets(dountown Waukesha). I was told dash locating pins were 1mm too long, and had to be cut. dash was removed took, two days (foam had to cure?) no noise since!! Work order states: tisb nv007,Used noise kit 08231-00801. Dealer bent over backward to be acomedating.

My rx330 is just about to turn a year old with no major problems!! When I first bought it I tried to buy a service manual but was told none was available yet.At my last trip to the dealer I asked again and was told they could order the two volumn set for $169.00. Trying to be a smart shopper i asked Irontoad for a quote,this is what I got back Repair manual vol.I 00245-RM113-6U1---$145.00 Repair manual vol.II 00245-RM113-6U2---$145.00 Repair manual vol.III 00245-RM113-2U----$145.00 Electrical wiring diagram 00245-EWD61-2U----$145.00 Does anyone have an idea what is in each volumn??neither dealer knows?I dont need to know how to remove/replace the engine or transmission, being way over my abilitys! What i need is something to show how to do fluid changes,remove interior panels ,test/replace sensors,etc. ANY advice would be welcome. Thanks in advance

My mother is 85,short but not frail.It is diffilcult for her to get in or out of my rx330.I have to lift her in or out because of the high step. The problem is less than what my ford windstar was. In all fairness I believe any vehicle taller than a sedan would cause her problems. As for traction, I have never gotten stuck in this suv. I have driven 50 miles in 9 inches of fresh snow using oem 18" tires up and down hills,and on ice covered lakes without chains. But I drive carefully,smoothly,and I dont take chances . Unless it's a real emergency (ie:low beer supply), I can wait for the plows to do their job. But I have no doubt that if I had to get somewhere I could! Please dont believe every post on this site,as quite a few people have agendas to prove and dont mind stretching or dwelling on a point.You might want to raise your question on edmonds.com and clublexus.com for more opinions.

Ihave a 2005 rx330,awd, flint mica with,nav,tow hitch,premium package plus,Heated front seats and wipers,18"wheels,cd changer. It was bought nov2004 from Brookfield (wisconsin)Lexus,for $40K. It had the dash board noise problem above where the passenger air bag comes out.IT was fixed in january (took Two Days!!) I was given a loaner and treated quite well. A much different experience than I am used to after 40 years of Ford And GM. I am 58 and pay $410 per year insurance Only $80 per year more than a 99 windstar!!

Sorry about post 25,I've never done this before! I have a 05 rx 4wd, 10k miles, I get ~20mpg overall. I have hit 26 at a steady 65mph on a 90degree day air on with nonreformulated gas.I have found that trip computer readings are about 1 mpg better than actual measured. Reformulated gas (10 percent ethanol) costs me ~2mpg If driving style gets aggressive,overall drops to 18.In general,Im very pleased with the milage Im getting. This is using anybodys 87 octane
