My 2007 Lexus with 76000 miles on it started making roaring noise when I reach speed higher than 30 mph (similar to sound of a muscle car when it initially accelerates). But the sound continues at higher speeds and even after I let go of the gas. Two shops (diagnosed it as bad wheel bearing. So I had a front and a rear wheel bearing replaced but the same roaring noise was still there. They think it may be transmission problems. I’ve spent over $1200 and still don’t know what’s causing the roaring noise.. has anyone experienced a similar problem and had it resolved?
