Hello guys, I need your help and advice one more time. My 2017 Lexus RX350 is due for its 5k maintenance service. I bought the car when it was 31k, now the mileage is 36k and I see the message on the dashboard that required maintenance soon. I live in a town where there is no Lexus dealership, the closest one is 90 miles from me. But there is a Toyota dealership in my town. Just wondering if I can take my RX350 to the Toyota dealership for this maintenance service. If yes, what would be the advantage and disadvantages? Thank you!

Thank you for your kind response. The owner’s manual says 87 (RON 91) or higher. How would you interpret that? Based on my research, USA’s AKI 87 is equivalent to RON 91. Now the question is, using higher grade would do any good to my car or using 87 would damage the engine in the long run? any information would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I'm new to the group and recently bought a 2017 RX350. Many sites including Lexus recommends Grade 87 (unleaded fuel) for gasoline, but the Lexus dealership agent recommended grade 89 minimum. Just wondering if you can share your experience and recommendation. Thank you in advance.
