Had an unfortunate accident with the side mirror on the interstate. Cover is cracked and broken. Have to remove the mirror portion to get to the screws holding the cover. Can't find any information about how to remove the mirror. Found U Tubes on earlier models showing pulling the bottom of the mirror out and lifting up. Tried (not too hard) to pull the mirror from the bottom but it didn't want to move. Don't want to break the $300+ mirror so I'm looking for help to remove the correct way. Thanks in advance for guidance.
