Ironically, I am having the same issue with my 2013 ES300h. The driver's side outside mirror does not work, while the passenger side mirror does. This started about 6 months ago. However, there are still times where when I put the car in reverse the mirror will tilt down, but when I put the car in drive it does not move. If I use the control button on the dash to move the mirror up, the mirror will return to the previous position and then the button will not work again, and does not work adjusting left or right.
I called the dealer and they wanted $150 just to diagnose the problem, so I am looking for an answer before going to the dealer, as I know dealer service charges tend to be high.
