  1. will new PCV help with oil consumption
  2. Aftermarket control arms wear out after 18k miles. Buying replacement parts is a nightmare as to names and numbers. Where can I find the correct part numbers and correct names for the suspension parts on this 2009 LS 460 AWD car.
  3. Excellent question, I don't have an answer. But why not any Upper Rearward AWD to be found in the aftermarket online stores? For example Beck/Arnley offers eight of the front eight control arms labeled for RWD and a Lower Rearward for AWD but none listed specifically for Upper Rearward AWD. Aftermarket is $90 while Lexus parts department is $470. I was thinking maybe a catalog omission and the RWD is the same part as the AWD?
  4. My dealership says its a different number so there must be something different about it. Obviously it's a different number, but that does not answer the question, can it be used on AWD? And why can I not find one (Front, Upper Rearward arm on a 2009, LS 460 AWD) in the aftermarket?
  5. I can find the part 48630-59135 (Front, Upper Rearward arm for a 2009 LS 460 RWD) in the aftermarket online stores but not the rated for AWD. The dealership is my last resort.
  6. Much confusion about so many LS 460 control arms. I want to know if a control arm part number 48630-59135 (Front, Upper Rearward arm for a 2009 LS 460 RWD) will fit for a part number 48630-59145 (F, Upper Rearward arm on a 2009, LS 460 AWD). Simple question will the 2009 LS 460 RWD control arm part work on a 2009 LS 460 AWD?
  7. 2009 LS 460 AWD, 98k miles, RH upper control arms need replaced. Will go with aftermarket arms because it is the bushing insert material not the metal arm that wears out. Question is which after market control arm brand name to buy (many names and prices at RockAuto, e-bay, etc.). Since the bushings are the only part that wears out and Lexus does not sell just the bushings, who makes the best replacement control arm bushing? I do not know and am looking for advice. I intend to replace the OEM control arms, save the old arms and re-bush the OEM arms for next time at 150k (+/-), I intend to keep this LS for ever!
