I have a 2003 Lexus SC430 w/92,000 miles. No warranty and not worried about re-sale value. I need work done and cost difference between Lexus dealer vs. other trusted mechanic is about $2000. I was told by Lexus that the difference was likely due to OEM vs. Aftermarket parts. Wondering if I should avoid Aftermarket parts or if they are basically the same as OEM. Will non-OEM last as long as OEM? Work required is attached. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a 2003 Lexus SC430 and I replaced the run flats with MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4S tires, years ago. My tire pressure sensor light has been on for months now and I was told that a battery (for the tire pressure sensor) was bad in one of the tires. Must I get this replaced at Lexus or is it OK to replace at Discount Tire when I get my new tires (which I plan to do this week).
