  1. I saw that earlier and actually downloaded the pics to post here but i guess i don't have to now. This seems quite easy to do.
  2. the vents are close to engine it doesnt matter
  3. the iridium plug is OE for his car
  4. more than likely the outside air is mixing with the heat coming off the engine
  5. i try to wash my car every 2 weeks to a month i wash my car mostly by hand now but when i dont have the time and the birds attack really bad i go to a carwash sometimes i flip-flop on the vacuum
  6. 5k is good how bad iis the leather?
  7. you dont have wires your coils are on top of the plugs (direct ignition)
  8. if you didnt tell him that the belt was changed b4 he checked it out then he probably just checked the mileage and rec. it be changed. either way do not do it again just get a new gasket for the oil pan and call it a day . make sure to check the condition of the tranny fluid
  9. true that armyofone
  10. i know he has 15" tires oem
  11. i had these b4 so i know they make them but all i can tell you to do is tap it into your google search bar. you got to get them custom made. i even had them put the lexus loge in mine. really nice look
  12. it sounds like you have air suspension and from what ive rad b4 your compressor on the shocks might be going out
  13. neo thanks for the really good illustration i never even looked at it that way i think both sk and you gave really god info but you guys have diff. ways of doing things
  14. depends on how much they weighed and if it wasnt over the weight that the spring are supposed to withstand then that means your springs have become weak and lost some of the tension but since you changed the whole strut assembly already i doubt thats the problem even though it is possible to get a brand new pair of bad springs. to tell if the springs are weak you have to remove all the extra weight out of the car( meaning everything that didnt come from the factory and make sure your tank is full. then you find a level spot to park. after that you have a tape measure and measure from the ground to a predetermined spot on the vehicle which the manufacturer supplies. you can find this info. in your owners manual, and what the specs. are supposed to be. if within specs you should be good if not then you should replace them
  15. you have to do this so you mess up the alignment which you have now done. take the car and get it realigned now
  16. doesnt look like you want to do too much besices what you stated so just get the burb and save you some money b/c as you will find out with your 2 ls400 parts and maintenance is a killer down the road. besides you dont buy a lexus as a knock around vehicle B)
  17. its nothing but gravity. now when you take the stuff out does your car lift back up? if it doesnt you have a problem. i keep a bunch of tools jack stands and roadside stuff in my trunk and it lowers the car but when i take it out back to normal height
  18. ok blake :cheers:i probably learned it from you anyway
  19. thanks for the lesson sk i read all over the place how the guys just remove the rubber or shave it. i guess its cheaper for them to do it that way
  20. 1995-2000 LSs are all second generation UCF20s. While the 1998 model year has several important upgrades, it's still the same chassis with UCF20 stamped on the info sticker in the driver's door jam. Whoever wrote that it's a thrid gen on the CPO library webpage must have been :snoooorrrtttt: at the time!! LOL ← i know blake 1gen ufc/10 90-94 2gen ufc/20 95-97 2gen ufc/20 98-00 many changes same frame 3gen ufc/30 01- ls430
  21. please dont put 22s on the ls, just too big.you would have have to find a way to drop your car a little which should be easy since you have the air susp. which should be adjustable.all they mean by rolling your fenders is that you have to trim the black rubber piece that covers the bottom of your fender in the wheel well
  22. of course not i see its a 3rd gen and nc has a 2nd gen
  23. that could just mean the connector wiring is not good not necesarilly the sensor itself
  24. i was just rying to be politically correct, that rim is ugly sk o class at all. i like chrome but not like thatand it looks cheap.sorry nc i hope thats not your car
  25. i personally dontlike the way that rim looks on that car. i dont know if its the size or that particular rim. it looks too big for the car.
