you might be correct, but why do toyoa engineers advie against gas & oil additives? as for the longer drain intervals, i havent commented on that, so i dont know why you would address that question to me. plus you still didnt answer my original question about an 80s toyota engine and todays toyota engine

carbon build up is never a good thing for an engine so i would have to agree with TOYS and SK but monarch monarch most times you sound like you have good mechanical sense but other times you sound like you have too much faith in these engineers. if theengines were made so perfect there would be no reason to constantly make them BETTER. do you believe a toyota engine from the 80s is more efficient than the BEST toyota engine made today?

if youtake the rotor off yourself and bring it to a machine shop youll pay between 5-$10 but if you take your car to the shop they will charge you like 80 bucks to resurface rotors in MY experience

i just did the gas yank and brake booster oart of this deal a couple weaks ago but im wondering if i fouled my spark plugs b/c my mileage seems like its slightly worse but im going to change my air filter b4 i attribute it to my plugsbeing fouled

just get a book that shows you how to do a timing belt job for all cars and you will see it states that the 98ls was the first to become an interference engine

i bought a key off of ebay and could not program it for the life of me, this was back in the summer so i put it up b/c i was just going to have th dealer do it, so i tried it one more time a couple of weeks ago and i got it on one try. just reread the instructions carefully and keep trying,make sure the steps are all the same in the different set of instructions

the only place you can get it cheaper is if i did it for you at your house if not that is a good deal. thatsat least a5-6 hour jod in labor plus the costs of materials so i say thats a good deal

why should this be personal when you guys choose to bicker in a public forum over someone elses OPINION.
