    yeah SW i hear you , i have a colgan 2 piece bra that use for the highway and sometimes i leave it on for a couple of days but i always take itoff and make sure i put a couple coats of wax underneath

    he will notice a difference in the way the car sits if the springs that he has now are weak, and i think they are if one side is out of wack. you ever saw a car that wasnt lowered intentionally but the wheels are tucked up in the fender?

    i dont think hes trying to lower th car , its just that the car sits lower on the drivers side and he wants to know if he changes all the struts out will the car be level all around again anyway i think thatmight solve your problem unless you have some structural damage on thAt side

    Sorry Lexus told me it did not... Gee a dealer not knowing what they are saying........:whistles: it just doesnt hold codes with the car off, when your CEL comes on while you are driving the difference is that if your car is obd1 when you turn the car off you lose the code until you restart the vehicle and you have to wait until the CEL comes back on but with obd2 vehicles the computer retains te code information

    looks good BLAKE i just did mine using 3m compound and polish then i topped it off with the NXT i did all this by hand so its shining like crazy but i still have lots of swirls that you can see under the sun light

    you need to use a PC or rotary polisher to get those swirls out

    does the car crank but not spark?or when you turn the key nothing happens at all? do the lights come on? what part of b-more are you in?i used to liveon the east side for a couple of years, i might pass through and check it out

    i unhooked the negative battery cable for 1 hour and the message is still there. the lights dont move up or down upon start up but it sounds like i can hear a motor or something buzzing inside of the car

    when i took the lights out i did not disconnect the battery but i did start the car with the lights out. do you think that has anything to do with it?

    i removed both my headlights to basically clean them but when i re-installed them im getting the check the system message on my dash. so i took them back out and checke all the connections which were good but the message still appears. my light dont move at all when i start the car up so i know the system isnt functioning, does anyone have any ideals b/c it was working fine b4 i took the lights out

    lets get back on topic fellas, ive had experiences with bodyshops that would support both sides of this debate. but i will say that if the shop knows you are paying for repairs out of pocket they dont try to tack on all the unnecessary b.s. that you dont really need to do b/c they know your finances are limited. the most important thing is to just be informed about what it is you are trying to do and that way you wont get jacked up on the price
