  1. This use to happen to me when I had the 91LS. I Moved out of town to a new job for a couple of years and left the car with my uncle. He decides to put an aftermarket alarm on the car. I moved back after 5 years and got the car back, sometimes I would park but when I went to start the car nothing would happen. I could never figure out what the problem was since it would start after letting it just sit for 30-60 minutes. This happened several times before I found the alarm and ripped it out. I never had that problem again.
  2. Yeah it sounds like you set off the security system. Try disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours, maybe overnight. That has worked for some ppl.
  3. Yeah I saw that on the news. Be safe on the roads.
  4. Lol I jumped in...
  5. The bushings are 45516 and 45517.
  6. Remove the panel on the drivers side where the trunk and tank release levers are and close the circuit with a piece of wire and the trunk will opened right up. When you pull the lever it makes the contacts touch sending power to the switch which opens the trunk, but when you press the keyhole in it slides something in there that prevents you from doing this.

  8. You need a working master to program additional keys. If you don't have a master key the ECU needs to be flashed to create more keys.
  9. I also would check the battery cables for corrosion and to see if they are loose.
  10. You can pay without using paypal unless the seller states they only take paypal.
  11. Thx I had these instructions a couple of years ago but would have to search to find it.
  12. I've never personally used parts geek I believe I purchsed mine from Amazon since I have prime. I have never heard anything bad about them though. Ebay is an option also.
  13. I would go with the OEM which is KYB. http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/1990/lexus/ls400/suspension/strut_assembly.html
  14. Pour some water on the sunroof and see if it leaks. Maybe the sunroof drain hose is clogged up.

  16. Hopefully we don't get that much snow. I really dislike that stuff. Make sure you soak the bolts if you have air tools.
  17. Ok make sure you seat the seals correctly and pay attention to the front bearing caps to make sure they are not leaking. Those are supposed to be cleaned and new FIPG is supposed to be applied.
  18. I thought Amazon had a UK store.
  19. Glad you got it worked out.
  20. Glad to hear you got it done. Come back if you have any more issues you need our help to diagnose.
  21. Yes listen to 1990LS400 he has extensive knowledge in this area. I also assumed you had the factory phone system but seeing your is aftermarket I can't suggest how to remove it.
  22. I've removed my phone and can't remember a wire leading to the radio. Could you provide a pic if possible?
  23. Amazon also has compatible seals. When I got mine I did not know what was compatible so I did not want to take a chance but after I got them from the dealer I knew I could of saved some money and went with the amazon seals.
  24. Yes just remove the backseat. Download the pdf that I linked.
