  1. Well you guys weren't much help. Turns out it was a Throttle Position Sensor, part #: 89452-30150, not the transmission after all. Runs great now.
  2. I just purchased this ES 300 two weeks ago. While test driving it over the course of 2 days, there was no problem. Car has 113,000 miles on it, and is a one owner vehicle. The day after I bought it the transmission seems to be stumbling or shuddering, occasionally at speed on the freeway and also at lower speeds around town. I've read the hesitation post, but this is not what's happening with my car. I took it to a transmission shop and there are no codes revealing the problem. They replaced the Mass Air Sensor to no avail. They don't think it is the transmission. They can't figure it out and suggest I keep driving it until something changes. Anyone have or heard of this problem? Do I dare take it to the Toyota dealer? Thanks.
