Interested to know would your stereo play while the ac cutoff? because I am having a similar problem with my 96 LX

Hello, I have a 96 LX 450 and the A.C. & Stereo turns on sometimes with start up, then there are times when it won't turn on until after the car is running, then there there are times when it won't turn on for days. Everything else works perfect, battery OK, lights OK just this intermitten pain in the butt. Please help!!!!!

I am really not satisfied with the sound of my stock Lexus/Pioneer audio system so please tell me about what you did to improve your listening pleasure. I'd like mostly to add a sub and an amp keeping the changer. thanks

my 96 LX450 the wiper arms have unsightly rust showing that I'd like to cover up, aside from buying new arms is there anyway to cover up/paint the rusted areas? Will black touch up paint work?

I just got back from The Zone, where they scanned my LX450 due to a "check engine" light and here is what it says: P0420 the PCM has determined that the catalyst system efficiency for bank 1 is below threshold for the current engine operating conditions. Bank 1 identifies the location of cylinder #1 while bank 2 identifies the cylinders on the opposite bank. OK there is the problem what the remedy? Thanks in advance!

Hello the knocking occurs at at speeds greater than 50 MPH. I hope this helps?

Great questions, but since I have only driven the truck home and no place else as of yet, I will to get back to you on that one. Stand by. . . And yes I can actually feel the knocking under my foot!

Hello All, I am new to the forum and I just want to pose a quick question or two. When I drive my LX450 I notice there is this knocking under my left feet, I swear it sounds and feels as if some is trapped underneath the truck and trying to get my attention It's the weirdest thing??? Also I was wondering how much would new shocks cost, my truck as 126K miles on it. Thanks!
