  1. Hi, The only procedure I have seen is to put the window half way up, the down and then raise it to the top and hold the switch in the up position for about five seconds. This only works for the other three windows, as my drivers window will not go all the way up. Thanks for the reply, Bill
  2. my name is Bill and I recently bought a 2006 es330 Lexus. I just spent $2000 on it to have a new timing belt , front brake discs and pads installed including a new water pump. I love the car, it drives like new even though there is 123000 miles on it. I have a super mechanic that has a great reputation here in fla, but he can not fix the drivers window on my car. The problem is it will only go half way up, and it stops as if it thinks there is something in the way. I know it was meant to be a safety feature, but can not find out how to cure it. All the other windows work ok from the main switch. The mechanic has spent a number of hours on it , but no luck. I bought another switch from ebay, but that was even worse, only one window worked.
