I had a salvage 51,000 miles transmission put in my 97 LS400. The new transmission works great unless you accelerate hard from a stop. It stalls down then takes off, about 1 1/2 sec. delay. My car does not have Traction Control but I'm wondering if the transmission came from a car that was equipped with Traction Control. The new transmission had an extra speed Sensor that the original didn't. Does the transmission need to be programed?
